Hole in the wall.

My kitchen has a damp spot and after moving the climbing plants out of the way we found a problem with a series of holes in the wall. The holes have been filled but the trouble is the damp patch is about 12 feet horizontally away from the hole. It will be interesting to see if the damp patch gets drier.
