Wet Saturday

On a day when sometimes the rain has been sideways there is nothing for it but to hunker down inside in front of the laptop.  I have created a calendar using images from my street and up the hill.  On Friday I went around and photographed letterboxes in the street to use as insert pics.  It will be my donation as a raffle prize at the street Hospice dinner to be held early November.    The extra is the cover photo of the 'flag' which is displayed outside the house hosting Friday night drinks.    
The blip is my most recent Gin purchase.  It is Australian from the Barossa Valley  and I have to say it was a disappointment.  I found it had a liquorice after taste.  But I'm not a quitter and it has a couple of drinks left in it.
