The Radical steps

The Radical Steps were built in 1819 by Francis Pearson. They were called Radical by the locals, due to Pearson's radical political persuasion. There are 86 steps of seemingly different sizes and very sloppy today.
Nice walk bit misty and very muddy which was good fun. High light of the day the air ambulance landed next to us to help scrape up 2 unfortunate motorbikers. Fingers crossed they are ok but probably be uncomfortable tonight.
