Rainbow’s everywhere

Good to see SW trains support LGBT staff and passengers. Ironically I read in the paper today that homophobic hate crime has risen by 50% this year. There have been some horrendous reports of violence towards against the LGBT community this year but I think the increased stats are indicative of more people reporting homophobia and standing up for themselves. I’d like to think the majority of people would help and speak up if they saw this behaviour.
This guy wasn’t LGBT himself but by wearing the lanyard on our trains he’s making an important statement and it could make a difference to anyone feeling vulnerable or threatened.
