ginger, carrot top, duracell, ginge-minge - if you have red hair you will probably have been called all these things (and more) as a child and probably as an adult too. It's surprising in a country with the highest % of red heads in the world we are still treated like this - but such is human nature.

Even though red hair is a bit of a burden, now that it's turning grey and falling out I'm actually beginning to miss it...
