Gin Glorious Gin

Mel got a voucher from her dad (guided somewhat....) at Christmas to go to the Kingsbarns Distillery, home of Darnley's Gin, to do a little gin distilling class, so after a hearty breakfast in Newport we headed south into darkest Fife.

2 and a half hours later we had a labelled, duty-stamped, bottle of gin of our own devising (and named after Isla) (see extra). And I've now got a much, much better idea how to use the alembic still I have at home, which is almost identical to the little stills we were using, so there's more homemade gin on the horizon!
