Potato

When I was a child I picked potatos by hand. We would assemble in the fields and collect potatoes in sacks, carry them to the top of the field and have them inspected. If the potatoes were too dirty, the farmer would tip them out and make you re-sort them, thereby taking away valuable picking time. At the end of the back-breaking day you would have a few shillings to spend. Pretty much slave labour.

Anyway, this is how they do it today.
