A confusion of seasons

I confess to being confused or possibly just a bit dumb where Holly is concerned. My tree has never had berries before, and suddenly it has hundreds, but the sun is shining and the sky is blue... is that ok? I have no idea but it doesn't feel quite right - although it makes for a nice picture!

Up late waiting for daughter to get back from her summer in Jersey; the ferry gets into Poole so very late. Meanwhile other daughter is in Jordan for the week with her work. And me... I have the big return to work tomorrow after two very long weeks off, and a lot of miles covered. It will be a shock.to the system for sure!
