Going to need...

A bigger drill!!

I'm cutting through our cement path outside the kitchen to mount 4 long posts for the canopy that is going over the decking.

With a masonry drill bit got through it fairly easily in a honeycomb pattern and then smashed it out.

Underneath the top cement I hit rock hard concrete. I belted it with a sledge hammer... Must be think because the vibration went quite a way.

Think I'm going to need to visit the tool hire store for a big boys tool....and some earplugs!
