Charging

I received an electricity bill today.   Helpfully it gives an hour by hour breakdown of our electricity consumption for each day of the period.

I am on a special electric vehicle tariff which reduces the unit price to 5p between 00.30 and 04.30.   So that's when my car is set to charge.

This particular day was when I had been down to London and my battery was almost exhausted so it took a full charge.

The cost was just over £1 for the full charge which gives me a 120 mile range.

A couple of top-ups at rapid chargers on the journey was a bit more expensive at about £5 a time
