The Nine Standards

Drove over to Kirkby Steven today, and took a "ralk" (half run / half walk) up to the Nine Standards. It was the first time I'd been up to them, and despite my photo only having 5 of them, there are 9. It's not sure what they are, or what they were for. They are pretty impressive structures though. 

A couple of moments of half-sun managed to lift the standards from the background a bit.

The run back down was good though (the walk up wasn't so easy)
