Mother and child

Two days ago, the weather forecast promised a beautiful day on Sunday, so Martine’s parents invited us for a barbecue. Unfortunately the beautiful weather never materialized. Quite the opposite, in fact; so we had rain in the afternoon. That didn’t stop us from having a barbecue though!

Before the barbecue, Martine and I visited friends who had moved from Stedum to Middelstum a couple of months ago. Altogether a very enjoyable Sunday!

Near the house of my in-laws, I saw this calf. It was born yesterday, I was told.
