Long Lake, Halifax

A walk in a provincial park on the outskirts of Halifax filled the morning followed by a drive over into Dartmouth the other side of the Bay. Nowhere in particular just following our noses along the coast. Came across a lighthouse but too far out for any serious blipping. The extra was from a tiny fishing port, Fisherman’s Cove. just outside Dartmouth. They were preparing for the annual Maritime run. The theme being pirates, there were lots of fancy dress and all taking place in a lovely little place. This picture was my favourite as a memory chatting to the ladies about Wales, Canada and what they were up to. It proved to be the highlight of a very pleasant afternoon which ended up back in Dartmouth for a pizza fest on the front watching a delightful sunset over the suspension bridge.
