In Praise Of Libraries

My new read for the daily commute, The View From The Cheap Seats  by the inestimable Neil Gaiman, a fairly random selection of non-fiction writing such as speeches, introductions, editorials, reviews etc. I took this photograph in my old haunting ground, the school library. As a former library teacher, how could I not be moved by Neil Gaiman's paean to libraries in this speech which he delivered in 2013 to the Reading Agency, a UK charity with a mission to help people become more confident readers.
