Endometriosis Awareness Week

Thankfully since my hysterectomy in 2005 I have been symptom and pain free from Endometriosis. It took me over 10 years to get my diagnosis and in that time I became infertile.

Endometriosis is a horrendous, debilitating illness that occurs in 1 in 10 women, I ended up living a half life, doped up on Morphine whilst I was suffering. Having a hysterectomy aged 31 is not an easy decision. It has given me my life back though.
