No Smoke Without Fire

I had a lovely surprise when I got to work- the staff room had been decorated with a birthday banner and balloon and the staff were waiting to give me presents, cards and a lovely birthday cake. Unfortunately the candles set of the smoke detectors and 10 seconds after this photo was taken, the fire alarm went off and the whole school had to evacuate the building.
It’s certainly been one to remember!
