Clouds to the Rescue

We spent yesterday afternoon and this morning at my parent's house.  It was good to see them. Dad has been going through some cancer treatments but he looks good and is in good spirits.  Mom is holding up well too. Scary business, cancer.  After all the driving and emotions of the last few days, a cloud blip (during cocktails on the back deck) to fill the slot is just what the doctor ordered. Tomorrow we wake up at home with two girls away at college. As a friend recently said, "It's all part of the deal when you become a parent." How true!
