SPIDER ALERT - FOOT IN MOUTH

Wandering around the garden I found this lovely spider with a huge web backlit by the late afternoon sun.  
I wet the web in an attempt to get shiny bits and when going through the shots see that he is tasting the water - his foot is in his mouth! Guess he was enjoying the drink after another hugely hot day.  
I have cornflowers blooming again and the weigelia are also still flowering. This weather is very off kilter.
