Part of today's cull

Every Thursday I volunteer at the JFK highschool library. My job is to work my way through the books and cull the ones that are a waste of space. It is a dual-language, German/American public school that had close ties to the US military that was stationed here. When the army left, they "donated" their library to the school. Those books are the ones that are often most suited for culling, either because they are incredibly dated self-help books like this one, or books of dubious literary merit that don't get checked out. Since shelf space is limited, we cull those, sell some of them for a euro or two or offer them to the students for free. At the end of the year, we recycle what doesn't find a home. This book shows both the school stamp and the military one.
