Clouded Yellow

So once more I fell asleep last night without doing my blip.  Lots of jobs done early-I missed my gym trip as my hip is still very painful.  Grass cut, tomato greenhouse emptied and then I decided that as the weather was beautiful I'd pay a visit to Venus Pool to see if I could spot the Clouded Yellow butterfly that had been spotted over recent days.  A female Migrant Hawker (extra) was very obliging for me as I went  into the field-extra and then luckily for me a very helpful butterfly spotter had found the CY-otherwise it would have been like looking for a needle in a haystack-it's a very big field.  Reluctantly I headed home later than planned -leaving myself enough time to round up the jobs I was part way through -but I then got distracted by a female Southern Hawker egg laying in my pond. (extra)
