Shepherd’s delight!

What a lovely autumn day! Blue sky and warm sunshine, left Inverness & first stop at Bruar , retail therapy for my visitors while I had coffee!
This afternoon we travelled over to Drymen near Loch Lomond to walk in Buchanan ancestors footsteps, Buchanan Castle is in ruins now and nature is taking over the whole building! Sadly lots of trees & bushes growing in an around and it’s fenced off with sign of dangerous building !
Any way my visitors were delighted to see the land of their ancestors , drove through the tiny village of Milton of Buchanan stopping at the Kirk to wander around the graveyard. Then onto Balmaha for a delicious homemade ice cream lip smacking good!
This evening driving home the sunset was so beautiful ! What a privilege to be seeing this!
A very good day!
