Another busy day in the garden. I found a group of 4 sleeping hedgehogs next to the front wall of the house. I don’t know if they were hibernating or not. They were covered with leaves. I quickly covered them up again and added a few more leaves and some dried grass. One of them woke up briefly so I hope they don’t decide to move on. They’ve picked a cosy place next to the wall - I suppose it’ll be a bit warmer when we have our heating on. I always thought they were quite solitary little creatures so it was a surprise to find 4 together.
