It Matters

This is an old photo of my son, Collin taken with my first camera, a Mamiya Secor.

My career was in marketing for national consumer products brands, cleaning supplies, bar soap, beer, vitamins.... When  Collin was a little guy  he was asked at school what his father did for a living.  He said, "He sells toilet bowl cleaner." That was true at the time but it really bothered me.
Collin chose a career that really matters.  He became a doctor and then went on to work 3-years at the Mayo Clinic to get a specialty degree as an oncologist. He is kind, sensitive and brilliant. He works incredibly hard to improve the quality of people's lives.  And, he does.
