Spofforth Castle

Another perfect day to get out on the bike. 

This time we headed South-east for a relatively easy 30 miles, stopping off for a pub lunch in Spofforth a few miles before the end of our ride.
This is the nearby Spofforth Castle. According to English Heritage, it is actually the remains of a medieval fortified manor house.
