A walk along Seaton Cliffs

A fantastic day for a big challenge.

We walked from Seaton Cliffs Car Park, Arbroath, along the Cliffs all the way to the village of Auchmithie. The tough part was having to leave the cliff path and go down a lot of steps to the very stony beach, along the beach for quite a way and then up some very steep steps back up to the Cliffs again. That whole distance was about 4 1/2 miles. We arrived in time to catch a bus back to Arbroath and then walk back to the car, which was a mile. All in all, a distance of 5 1/2 miles, the furthest I have walked this year but the scenery was fantastic and the sea was as blue as the Mediterranean.
