Not exactly as planned

A lovely bright day and a chance to catch up with JanetH. I had planned a few locations to allow us to have a walk and take some pictures. Unfortunatley the first place was heavily signed Private (new since my last visit) and the second was to the squirrel reserve where sadly we found that the squirrels are suffering again from squirrel pox and to try to limit it spreading the public are being discouraging feeding them. As a result the squirrels are spending their time up in the tree tops and not coming down to eat all the nuts which visitors bring and the reserve provide. This apparently should help as they will not be meeting together and spreading the lurgy. I hope it helps but it certainly didn't help our photographic attempt. Never mind a walk to the beach provided an opportunity to get the cameras out. I liked this lone tree - guess which was the sea is? The additional photo is proof that the squirrels or something hungry are still in the reserve!
