Climate change demonstration
We went to the climate change demonstration in Exeter this morning. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for the full event as we had a prior appointment but we arrived for the start in Pricesshay where a very large crowd were gathering. We estimated there could be over 3000 people. It was a very friendly gathering with school children, students, parents with young children, older people and some more senior. An assortment of banners and outfits. At 12.00 we all marched through the shopping centre out into the high street. It was I believe heading for County Hall but we had to retreat to catch our bus back home. These people (Mother Earth figures I assume?) were bringing up the end of the march. A few more in extras.
Another lovely sunny day - certainly a good one for expressing concern over the lack of world wide progress in reducing climate change.
