The Bahamas?

Sadly not - but the next best thing!  Scotland in September:-)  

We drove today to St Cyrus Nature Reserve just north of Montrose and I couldn't resist a paddle in the North Sea.  So refreshing on such a lovely sunny day.  We had a picnic on the beach too, the first (and last) of this year!

Then it was on up the coastal roal to Johnshaven, a little port we kept meaning to visit.  A lovey coffee and cake stop too and a pretty little harbour.

Further north, we stopped at Dunnottar Castle just to take some photos as we have been inside several times before and I'm not sure I could manage all those steps now.
