Cyclamen carpet.

An overnight near Topsham on our way to Cornwall.
So different as we usually come in March.
One thing we noticed was that the roads today were a lot busier, and it took us an extra hour to get here.
However the weather has been wonderful.
Sunshine all the way and 22/ 24C.
We managed to park easily, and then had our usual walk down to the river, and along the Goat Walk which is where we saw this carpet of cyclamen in the woods.
Really beautiful, but difficult to photograph with the light and shade.
Spent a while watching the wild fowl at the RSPB Bowling Green Hide. ( see extra)
The sun was beginning to go down on the way back. ( see second extra)
A nice meal at a local pub, which included a bottle of wine. As MrC was driving I had more than my share!
Think I will sleep well.
