Flower Friday :: FF20_2019

I popped into The World Garden at Lullingstone Castle over lunchtime to get some shots and to see how the preparation is getting on for this weekend's Mexican Weekend and CactusWorld Live. 

Two large marques have been erected where some stunning succulents and cactus will be on display. This part of the weekend is run by the British Cactus and Succulent Society of which Tom Hart Dyke is patron.

Tom and the volunteers were getting the Mexican side of things set up. The buzz around the place suggests it will be another fantastic weekend.

Although the weekend is more about the plants from Mexico I picked these Kniphofia for Flower Friday, they are a native of Africa.
