Where to Next?

The Maori place name for the very tip of the North Island of New Zealand (now called Cape Reinga), 'Te Rerenga Wairua', means "the leaping-off place of spirits". It refers to the Maori belief that the cape is the point where the spirits of the dead enter the underworld. But I like to think of it as the place where the spirits of adventurous Kiwis take wing to see the world.
