Sugar Loaf

Stanley and I were up early to travel to Abergavenny to climb Sugar Loaf, sometimes called The Sugar Loaf, or to give it its Welsh name Mynydd Pen-y-fal.

It was a steep climb in parts to the 1,995ft summit, Stanley was running around following the scent of the sheep and rabbits that I think he climbed it about three times.

The path to Sugar Loaf takes you through the twisted woods in St Mary's Vale, see Extra.
