Resurrection, immortality, and eternal life

Pyrintö A-girls left to Kotka to play national basketball championship series qualifications, so Emma had very early morning. They won their game today and Emma scored 20 points - the things are on a good track there!

My art studies started today and I äparticipated for awhile. Let's see if I'm able to carry out everything needed while I'm on sick leave. Our teacher is artist Ilkka Väätti.

Leevi came over and it was super nice to hear stories of his excursion (Greece, Albania and North Makedonia). In the picture is North Makedonia's 10 Denars note,  which is made of polymer. The peacock, the leitmotif of the back of the banknote, is a detail of the floor mosaic of the baptistery of the Episcopal Basilica in the ancient city of Stobi. This basilica is the oldest Christian temple in North Macedonia. Peacocks symbolise resurrection, immortality, and eternal life.
