This is the answer ...

...to the week's burning question, at the UCI Road Cycling World Championships, here in Harrogate. 

I noticed that the man carrying the sign had to keep checking to make sure the sign was still pointing in the right direction, as he wandered around the town centre. (That question probably would be 'excuse me mate, where is the nearest toilet?').

The predicted crowds of people had not yet arrived by 2pm, probably making many residents question whether the massive disruption, caused to travel, parking and local businesses, will really be worth it.

The first extra shows one of the more fashionable shopping streets, normally lined with parked cars, now complete with security barriers and very few shoppers.

My second extra probably isn't one of the competitors, finding a place to sit courtesy of a recently closed-down branch of one to the big banks.
