Global School Climate Strike 20th September 2019

I headed over to meet R and H and then on to Kelvingrove Park for the start of the march.  It was heartening seeing the numbers grow (over 10,000 apparently in Glasgow) and the atmosphere was great.  The march got a lot of attention and support from people on the way, including Billy Connolly who was staying in one of the hotels on the route and came out to give his support.  We eventually got to George Square for speeches and music.  It was very moving to see how many young people and adults turned out across the world.  I hope it effects the changes needed.  I hope it's not too late.  My extras include some of the many brilliant placades designed - if you don't like bad language please don't look at them (bit late for the main blip!)

Afterwards did a bit more flat hunting and then as we were south of the river, went to see the Nick Cave exhibition at the Tramway, loved it. R cooked a delicious dinner and then headed back to the inn. Pretty tired, we covered a fair few miles.
