Maybe Not Much Of Anything

A very early start as Mr Kit and I headed out for a rather belated 25th wedding anniversary trip to Italy (our anniversary was back in August). We flew to Pisa and then caught the train to an area called Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre is a national park just north of Tuscany and comprises of 5 colourful villages built into the rocky coastline.

We checked into our hotel, in Levanto, the next town along from the main five, just after lunch and then we hopped on the local train to the fifth of the five villages (north to south), Riomaggiore (extra). After a wander around, a beer and plate of cheese & hams, we hopped back on the train to the next village along, Manarola. We had been recommended a lovely bar over looking the main village and headed up. The views did not disappoint (main blip), the only slight shame was that the clouds came over and there was no sunset.

It is predicted heavy thunderstorms tomorrow so I am not sure what we plan to do...maybe not much of anything.
