Rain

After having not been out for a couple of days I really needed to get some shopping.  Although rain was forecast it was fine when we set off.  Just as we were heading for the checkouts we realised that it was absolutely pouring down.  Even getting the bags into the car was difficult as rain was wetting inside the car.  The surrounding  roads quickly became flooded, as I hope you can see from my shot.  The good thing is that it cools things down.  More rain is forecast.

In very sad news.  The cat did not make it.  Unfortunately she had ingested rat poison.
