Haarlem

The four of us went to Haarlem today. The brother of Annemarie, Johan, celebrated his 40th birthday today and his daughter celebrated her 5th one.
We arrived around 13.00 hours.The weather was great, complete summer, so we were outside all day.
Lots of friends (with even more children) came by and they all chitchatted the day away. 
Unfortunately I felt a nasty cold creeping up inside of me during the afternoon, so I ended up sneezing and sniffling. Let's hope it'll be gone again after a good night sleep.

We left around 20.30 and arrived home at 22.45 hours.

On the photo Bas and Daan are the playing the game "sjoelen" (Google translates this as "shuffle"). The shuffleboard and bricks were made by their great-grandfather and is still in working order. The table underneath was made my by the father of Annemarie by the way.
