Fresh air

The BBC weather app got it completely wrong for last night and this morning: there was no storm and it was blue sky and sunshine when we took Polly for her walk. However, we were about to go on our own, longer one afterwards when it suddenly went very dark and apocalyptic so we decided to have a coffee first. Glad we did as it then rained torrentially for quite some time.

Afterwards, though, it brightened up so we grabbed our coats and headed to the common and made it round the long route largely in the dry. As I type, it’s tipping it down again.
