Typically a road is seen as something that is hot, dirty, and something with a single purpose - that of getting us from point A to point B; however, through the addition of water this perception can change. As water collects and gives birth to puddles, the road is washed clean of its dirt and grime but it still maintains its purpose. It still gives us the ability to travel.

Puddles can act as windows into an alternate reality or dimension. A lot of times people quickly pass by puddles without thinking much about them. In fact, sometimes it may take a moment to finally see what is being reflected, but when given that time, the vision will become clear as day. In this case, however, it's allowing some light to emerge through the depths of its darkness. Perhaps this reflection is acting as a sign of hope of what's to come...
