Resident Emu!!

For several weeks now I've been checking in on the new addition to these parts...just up the road...in a random field...next to a house...

...this emu! I've been wanting to blip him (or her?!) for a while but he's often sat down making him difficult to see on a photograph! However, he must love the torrential rain as today he came right to the fence to say hello!! He's a very intriguing pet!!

I'm now in my pyjamas, marking books and listening to the radio. Living the dream I'd say ;-) ha ha!!
