A Meandering Life...

Mono Monday 296 :: MM296 :: Pastime

Pastime, I have many.

Photography and my photo club naturally. My classic car, Matilda, a 1970 Morris Minor Traveller and for the past year my little caravan an Eriba Puck.

Now I've owned the Puck for a year I booked it in to have a service with a classic caravan specialist. Everything was checked and serviced, brakes, fittings, lighting, water ingress check, new gas hosepipes, chassis and gas appliances inspected.

My Blip is not a random dead body found in a hidden space but the engineer working on the fridge. On my trip to Yorkshire last month it wouldn't work on gas, a problem when off gridding as I was.

It turned out some rust had fallen down the chimney and clogged the burner. Added to this some insulation (on the floor) that should have been in one piece on top of the fridge was in bits and fallen to the back covering an air vent. Just as well I had it service!

It is now working as it should and the Puck has been given a clean bill of health. Just need to plan my next venture...

In extras I have made a postcard to show you what I did whilst waiting.
