River of Flowers

Tuesday: Cotoneaster Berries
Woken up at 2:30am by torrential rain on the roof, when I looked out of the window I could also see the half moon over the sea.
Rain had stopped by 7am when we got up. The washing was saturated.
MrD went to work and we had a few light showers.
Weather brightened as the day went on and there was a gentle breeze, which helped to dry the washing. Temperature around 18°C.
The cotoneaster is near the washing line, when it’s in flower the insects swarm around it and the ripening berries will be very welcome when the weather gets colder, they are a favourite of the blackbirds!
Bit of crafting this morning, made a couple of birthday cards from magazine kits. Made pancakes for tea because I didn’t fancy a proper dinner.
Good night all x
