Cat Bells

The forecast was ominous but fortunately the lightening never came. Tryfan46’s planned Blipmeet in Ambleside and walk to High Sweden Bridge along Scandale Beck, was able to go ahead and was extremely pretty despite the drizzle. Lovely to meet some fellow blippers too. Thanks all, especially Tryfan46. You’ll see the men in extras, whilst the ladies were posing on the bridge.

The afternoon was wetter but a walk up Cat Bells and beyond, towards High Spy; with orthotic insoles inside my new boots, proved a good test. The waterproofs withstood the rain too. Always a bonus!

As for the main blip, I just love the richness of the Lake District colour palette.
