Dubai Ice Rink

After a slightly more productive day, met up with friend Miriam in the evening to watch the Life of Pi! Cinema located in Dubai Mall and is right next to the Ice Rink, hence the blip.

Dubai has several indoor ice rinks, the first one opening in the late 70s not far from where I live, and that's where I learnt to ice skate! It now also has an OUTDOOR rink which I have yet to investigate! How they keep the ice frozen is going to be very interesting to learn. [No worries about carbon footprints in this country!]

The movie was interesting to say the least. Was reminded by friend that it had its World Premiere at the Dubai Film Festival last month alongwith the movie Hitchcock.

So with plenty to think about... I shall say good night and hope you all have a super start to your days tomorrow...
