Zoo day! I was particularly looking forward to seeing the golden pheasants, and they didn't disappoint, even if this handsome chap was missing his long tail feathers... Other favourites included a flapping bantam, a snoozing bunny, suckling ring-tailed lemurs, an NOT snoozy red-ruffed lemur, a sleepy Immy, a reticulated python with prey, an ostrich interaction, a reaching rainbow lorikeet, a panting Muscovy drake, a funny Muscovy duckling
The zoo album is here, and other highlights of the day included an impressive house centipede, a minimalist sunrise, and seeing a hoopoe by the supermarket after returning from the zoo.
