After .............

.............. a day of mixed weather this was the view from Himself's hospital room at about 18.30 in the evening.

As you can see he's still in there but feeling much better - we now await the results of the tests and a "powwow" next Tuesday with all the relevant consultant bods in this hospital and possibly from Leicester and Sheffield too.

An operation is not a straightforward option as he has already had (in the past) massive amounts of chemo and radiotherapy for stomach cancer as well as a double heart bypass (and a number of other bits and bobs) - add that to atrial fibrillation - they are not going to take any chances (I hope!!).
Now we wait.

There is mention of him coming home on Friday so fingers crossed.

As we came in from Germany on Sunday he has to be hospitalised in a single bed room (bonus) and it's on the eighth floor so the view is magnificent - the church you can (just) see is St Botolph's - locally called The Boston Stump.

You can see some scaffolding on large view

Photo taken with my phone with a sharpen and a bit of a letterbox crop (I have a daylight camera option from Monday to post at some point).

Thank you again for all your comments, stars, hearts and well-wishes for Himself.

Backblipped on Thursday 26 September (which would have been my Dad's 95th birthday)

Update:  I have just seen that Freyjad's optional challenge is "A Piece of History"  -  hmmmmm  - I guess St Botolph's is very historical as the construction of the present building started in 1309 to replace an original Norman church
