Today was first day back to work. Usually this means a half day of catch up with our colleagues before heading off to our workshops to prepare for the proper start the next day.

Today, however, it meant a day long facilitated discussion on if and how we would lose 3 weeks of our holiday entitlement. I must admit, I went into it with a feeling that we would be told "this is what we're doing and this is how we're doing it", but came away feeling a lot more positive. Whether or not it continues beyond in future discussions is another matter...

A nice part of the day was this wee toy that a fiddled about with for the entire day - kept me amused.
