Grey Heron

This morning took me to the village of Ashford about 25 km North of here. Business. Business which didn't go terribly well but that's another story altogether. I got there early for a meeting, which gave me time to blip this fine fellow. Standing in the middle of the weir, he kept a beady eye on anything and everything which moved within striking distance of that classic orange beak.
