What's the Poinsettia?

I am not sure there is any point in me keeping this poinsettia, which has been around since last Christmas, but I can't quite bring myself to not water it.

A very damp Autumnal day here. I had a doctor's appointment, and seem to have ended up with 3 follow-on appointments, but it is good to get this stuff checked out. 

Double kids' birthday parties tomorrow, forty-five minutes apart. I think this will be the fifth weekend in a row with birthday parties, and another to go next week. There will be a deep sigh of relief from me once they are over, but the Bug has certainly enjoyed himself.
